Several artists also denied signing any AI-related contracts. iQIYI CEO Gong Yu responded to the controversy this afternoon, stating that the artists listed in the NadoPro artist pool only indicated their willingness to participate in AI production, and did not necessarily agree to any specific AI projects. Additionally, he clarified that artists like Zhang Ruoyun and Yu Hewei, mentioned by some media outlets, are not part of the artist pool. He explained that the business model of iQIYI's NadoPro aims to smoothly transition the existing relationships between artists, talent agencies, and production projects onto AI production, ensuring that artists maintain decision-making power over their roles in a project.
