On April 18, the 2026 Greater Bay Area Automobile Industry Export Development Conference with the theme of "Reshaping Ecology, Collaborating for Overseas Expansion" and the launch event of exporting 2 million vehicles from Guangzhou Nansha were grandly held at the Guangzhou Nansha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Guests at the event witnessed the historic moment of Nansha's automobile exports reaching 2 million vehicles and discussed new opportunities for high-quality overseas development of the Bay Area automobile industry. As the largest automobile roll-on/roll-off terminal cluster in South China, Guangzhou Nansha Port has 1.8 kilometers of prime shoreline, a 1.6 million square meter vehicle storage yard, 7 berths for vessels over 10,000 tons, an annual throughput capacity exceeding 3 million vehicles, and can accommodate the largest roll-on/roll-off ships in the world, possessing a strong core strength of "large imports and exports, fast in and out". With the coordinated support of multiple units including customs, border control, maritime administration, port operations, and pilotage, the port has formed an efficient model of "berthing and parallel operations of seven vessels" where the loading and unloading of 4,000 vehicles on a single ship can be completed within 24 hours, providing stable and reliable support for automobile exports.
