16 policy measures! China's first normative document in the field of service certification is issued.

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the "Guiding Opinions of the National Accreditation Commission on Regulating Service Certification". As the first normative guiding document in the field of service certification in China, the issuance of the "Guiding Opinions" marks a new stage of standardized development in the service certification industry, and will further enhance the efficiency of the certification system to help the service industry expand and improve quality. The "Guiding Opinions" focus on strengthening the compliance management of certification bodies, regulating the implementation of certification activities, and supporting the standardized and orderly development of service certification, proposing 16 policy measures. These measures not only delineate clear compliance boundaries for certification bodies and detail the implementation requirements at each stage of certification activities, but also provide direction for the high-quality development of the certification industry, establishing a standardized development system that promotes collaborative efforts and systematic advancement. The implementation of the "Guiding Opinions" will further drive certification bodies to enhance their sense of responsibility, improve their professional capabilities, and promote service certification towards both consumer services and production services, using high-quality service certification to support the high-quality development of the service industry. In the next step, the State Administration for Market Regulation will deeply implement the spirit of the National Service Industry Conference, focusing on the comprehensive implementation of the action plan to expand and improve the service industry, promoting the professionalization and high-end extension of the value chain of service certification, continuously enhancing the credibility of the certification industry and international recognition, to provide solid support for the high-quality and efficient development of China's service industry.
