Brazil launches anti-dumping investigation on Chinese soybean protein

According to the China Trade Remedy Information website, on April 14, 2026, the Foreign Trade Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services issued Announcement No. 28 of 2026, initiating an anti-dumping investigation on soybean protein originating from China in response to an application submitted by domestic Brazilian companies on November 3, 2025. The products involved have the South Mercosul Customs Code numbers 2106.10.00, 3504.00.20, and 3504.00.90. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 2024 to June 2025, and the injury investigation period is from July 2020 to June 2025. The announcement takes effect from the date of issuance.
