On April 13, Li Chenggang, the international trade negotiation representative and Deputy Minister, met with the Executive Vice President and Chief Government Affairs Officer of Ford Motor Company in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on the economic and trade relations between China and the United States, as well as the development of Ford in China. Li Chenggang pointed out that there is broad space for complementary cooperation between the automobile industries of China and the United States. He hoped that Ford Motor Company would continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chinese enterprises, and provide more competitive products for the Chinese and global markets. Ke Li stated that Ford Motor has been operating in China for many years and attaches great importance to the Chinese market and supply chain. The company is willing to explore new business opportunities for development with partners and hopes that the economic and trade relations between the United States and China will remain stable and develop further.
