Qixiang Tengda: overseas acetone production capacity is decreasing and shutting down.
Qixiang Tengda stated during the institutional research that the company's acetone production capacity reached 260,000 tons per year, making it the largest acetone production facility in the world. Due to the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East and the restructuring of global supply chains, overseas acetone production capacity has been reduced and some facilities have been shut down. Major acetone production facilities in Japan, Europe, and other regions use the sulfuric acid process, facing challenges such as aging equipment, increasing environmental pressures, and rising operating costs. Some facilities have gradually exited the market, leading to a continuous expansion of the overseas acetone supply gap. Domestic acetone production capacity is highly concentrated, with limited new capacity. The company's production scale advantage will further cost control and market pricing power, providing solid support for consolidating its leading position in the industry.
