Affected by the Middle East crisis, the import volume of liquefied natural gas in Asia has plummeted to its lowest level in six years.

Due to the disruption in supply caused by the Middle East conflict, buyers have been forced to reduce their consumption, leading to Asia's liquefied natural gas imports dropping to the lowest level in nearly six years. Reports indicate that the region's 30-day moving average net outflow fell below 600,000 tons over the weekend, reaching the lowest level since June 2020.
