The Emergency Management Bureau of Boluo County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province recently released the "Investigation Report of the 117 Fire Accident at Huizhou Littelfuse New Energy Co., Ltd. in Yuen Chow Town, Boluo County, Huizhou City". At around 7:17 on November 7, 2024, a fire broke out at the lithium battery transfer warehouse on the fourth floor of Huizhou Littelfuse New Energy Co., Ltd. at No. 106 Lihe Road, Liwu Village, Yuen Chow Town, Boluo County, Huizhou City. The fire area was 2,062 square meters, resulting in 2 deaths and direct economic losses of 9.11 million yuan. After investigation, it was determined that the 117 fire accident at Huizhou Littelfuse New Energy Co., Ltd. in Yuen Chow Town, Boluo County, was a general fire liability accident caused by inadequate implementation of corporate responsibility, chaotic management of rental factories by the lessor, weak safety awareness of enterprise employees, and inadequate supervision by local party committees, governments, and relevant industry departments.
