The data released by the China Passenger Car Association shows that in March, the export of new energy passenger cars reached 349,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 139.9%, and a month-on-month increase of 29.6%. This accounts for 50.2% of passenger car exports, an increase of 13.7 percentage points from the same period last year. Pure electric vehicles account for 52.3% of new energy exports, with the core focus on A00+A0 level pure electric vehicles accounting for 52% of pure electric exports. With the scale advantage of China's new energy vehicles becoming more apparent and the expanding demand in the market, more and more new energy products of Chinese brands are going abroad, with increasing recognition overseas. Plug-in hybrids account for 44% of new energy exports, and despite some recent external disruptions from other countries, the export of domestic plug-in hybrids to developing countries is growing rapidly with a promising future. In March, the outstanding companies in the export of new energy vehicles were: BYD Auto, Geely Auto, Chery Auto, Tesla China, SAIC Passenger Car, Leapmotor, Changan Auto, and Dongfeng Auto. Other car manufacturers also have a certain scale of new energy exports.
