Yin Li meets with a delegation from the Belgian French-speaking Reform Movement.

On January 8, Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, met with a delegation of the Belgian French-speaking Reform Movement led by the party chairman and federal parliament member Bucx. Yin Li stated that under the strategic guidance of Presidents Xi Jinping and Bucx, the comprehensive friendly partnership between China and Belgium has continued to make new developments. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Belgium. China is willing to work together with Belgium to implement the consensus of the two countries' leaders, enhance party-to-party exchanges and local cooperation, and promote greater development in the relationship between China and Belgium as well as China and Europe. Bucx expressed that Belgium supports free trade, advocates multilateralism, and is willing to strengthen communication and dialogue with China to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Europe and China.
