The Ministry of Water Resources approved the new round of management planning for sand mining in the major rivers.

Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources approved the management plans for sand mining in important sections of rivers such as the Yangtze, Yellow, Huai, Pearl, Songhua, and Liao rivers. The Ministry of Water Resources will guide the river basin management agencies and relevant provinces to strengthen the implementation and evaluation of the plans, strictly approve sand mining permits, strengthen digital supervision of sand mining, implement sand mining acceptance requirements, and carry out sand mining activities in accordance with the law, science, and order.
