On April 7th local time, a vessel chartered by Danish shipping giant Maersk was hit by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz. The crew members were unharmed, but the vessel suffered substantial damage with the upper part of the waterline damaged. The vessel is able to navigate independently and is currently heading to the nearest port for inspection. Maersk has not disclosed the source of the projectile. (CCTV)
