The Maersk-chartered vessel was hit by a shell in the Strait of Hormuz.

On April 7th, local time, a ship chartered by Danish shipping giant Maersk was hit by a missile in the Hormuz Strait. The crew members are safe, but the vessel suffered substantial damage, particularly above the waterline. The ship is able to sail independently and is currently heading to the nearest port for inspection. Maersk has not disclosed the source of the missile.
