The Baltic Dry Index reaches a one-month high

Golden Ten Futures News on April 7th, the Baltic Dry Bulk Freight Index rose to its highest level in over a month on Tuesday, as the freight index for all types of ships increased. The Baltic Dry Bulk Freight Index rose by 29 points, or 1.8%, to 2095 points compared to the previous trading day, reaching its highest level since March 5th. The Capesize Index rose by 62 points, or about 2%, to a one-month high of 3148 points. The daily profit of Capesize ships increased by 557 US dollars to 25045 US dollars. The Panamax Index rose by 18 points, or 1%, to 1802 points. The daily profit of Panamax ships increased by 164 US dollars to 16220 US dollars. The Supramax Bulk Carrier Index rose by 7 points, or 0.6%, to 1231 points.
