Russia is evacuating 198 employees from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, stating that the situation is deteriorating towards the worst-case scenario.

According to the Russian news agency on Saturday, the Russian state atomic energy company has evacuated 198 employees from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran. Since the conflict in Iran broke out at the end of February, Rosatom has been evacuating personnel from the nuclear power plant. TASS quoted Rosatom's president Alexey Likhachev as saying that the situation around the nuclear power plant is escalating towards the worst case scenario, and added that Rosatom has informed relevant authorities about the situation.
