China Mobile's Wutong Big Data Analysis found that this year, the overlap of spring break and Qingming holiday for some primary and secondary schools has sparked people's enthusiasm for traveling. It is expected that the overall size of the traveling population during the Qingming holiday will increase by 6% compared to the same period last year. Wang Jibin, General Manager of Data and Process Management Department of China Mobile's Smart Data Business Department, said that in terms of types of travel, 46% are domestic trips and 54% are inter-provincial trips, with the proportion of inter-provincial travelers increasing by 12 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Overall, the extension of the holiday has expanded people's travel radius.
