China Salt Chemicals: Wholly-owned subsidiary's safety production license expired and production ceased.
Sina Finance reported on March 31st that CNOOC Chemical announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, CNOOC Kunshan, will arrange for annual shutdown maintenance starting from March 22, 2026. On March 27th, due to the expiration of its "Safety Production License", it received a notice from the Kunshan Emergency Management Bureau to temporarily cease production from that day. CNOOC Kunshan's main products are soda ash and ammonium chloride, currently in a deficit state. In the period from January to September 2025, the company's revenue was 1.211 billion yuan, with a total profit of -193 million yuan. The company will urge it to communicate with the issuing authority to expedite the verification process. Except for CNOOC Kunshan, the company and other subsidiaries are operating normally.
