Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Bank, stated at the bank's 2025 performance release conference that in the past, CMB had been at the forefront of the industry in financial technology. Now, the board of directors has set a goal for CMB to "create the first intelligent bank in the industry." It is understood that at the end of last year, CMB had completed the digital financial development plan for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and made comprehensive arrangements for the digital financial work in the next five years. Building an intelligent bank will be a core task for CMB in the next five years.
