US Secretary of State and EU officials were exposed to have fierce clashes over the Ukraine issue.

According to three sources familiar with the matter, during the G7 foreign ministers' meeting held on March 27 local time, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Karas had a heated exchange over the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The sources said that this confrontation reflects the mutual distrust between the United States and many of its European allies due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In discussions on the Ukraine issue, Karas criticized the U.S. for not increasing pressure on Russia. Karas mentioned that a year ago, Rubio had stated at the same meeting that if Russia obstructed U.S. efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the U.S. would lose patience and take further measures against Russia. Karas asked Rubio, now that a year has passed and Russia has not taken any action, when will the U.S. lose patience?
