The national "village league" competition will begin in May with farmers as the main participants.

According to the China Farmers' Sports Association, the National Rural Volleyball Carnival 2026 will be held in Dafeng Town, Chengmai County, Hainan Province from May 9th to 16th. The event will adhere to the principles of "farmers as the main participants, agriculture as the main focus, and rural areas as the main venue," to serve rural development and promote comprehensive rural revitalization.
