According to Science and Technology Daily, on March 25th, it was learned from Beijing Aerospace Yuxing Technology Co., Ltd. that the Yuxing 3 No. 06 flexible robotic arm completed its on-orbit operation test mission successfully, marking a significant breakthrough in China's commercial aerospace on-orbit service technology. It is reported that this mission focused on several key technological breakthroughs: innovative design of flexible arms, enhancing the flexibility of fuel delivery pipelines to improve refueling safety; simplifying design with cable transmission to reduce research and development costs; modular integration to adapt to small payload satellites; three control modes complement each other, covering different application scenarios; force flexibility control relies on end force feedback to support precise operations; and space-ground collaborative measurement and control rely on a global ground station network to achieve long-term continuous chain building and low latency, ensuring smooth on-orbit operations.
