Honda adjusts its strategy, Sony and Honda halt their joint electric car release plan.

Sony Group and Honda announced on March 25th that they will terminate their development and release work on the Afeela series of electric vehicles. Due to Honda's reassessment of its electrification strategy, the original business plan is no longer feasible. Sony expects that, due to the "light asset" operating model adopted by Sony Honda Mobility, this change will not have a substantial impact on its financial condition.
