Changes in supply and demand patterns, lithium carbonate prices stabilize and rise.
Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Network released data showing that on March 24th, the average prices of battery-grade lithium carbonate and industrial-grade lithium carbonate were 14,750 yuan/ton and 14,450 yuan/ton, respectively, with prices rising by 1,000 yuan/ton compared to the previous day. Looking at a longer timeline, data from Wind Information shows that lithium carbonate prices have been fluctuating downward since early 2025, reaching a low point of 5,990 yuan/ton on June 24th of that year. Prices began to rise in the second half of last year, and as of now, prices have increased by over 140% compared to the low point in June 2025.
