Ministry of Civil Affairs: The elderly care service consumption subsidy project for elderly people with moderate or above disabilities has benefited more than 1.05 million people.

According to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, as of now, a total of 3.328 million consumption vouchers have been redeemed nationwide for the elderly with moderate to severe disabilities, with a total redemption amount of 2.35 billion yuan, driving a total consumption of elderly care services of 11.5 billion yuan, benefiting over 1.05 million disabled elderly people. The Ministry of Civil Affairs stated that in the next step, they will continue to focus on benefiting the people and promoting consumption, address the difficulties and bottlenecks in project implementation, continuously optimize processes, enhance services, strengthen supervision, continuously expand the coverage of beneficiaries, and improve the accuracy of services, allowing more elderly people to share the achievements of reform and development.
