Iranian conflicts continue as South Korea activates emergency system.
South Korean President Lee Jae-myung stated at a cabinet meeting that in response to the prolonged crisis in the Middle East, which could potentially bring risks to people's livelihoods, the economy, and industries, South Korea will proactively initiate an emergency response system. Lee Jae-myung said that all departments need to thoroughly inspect materials that may have supply risks, rigorously assess their impact on people's daily lives, seek alternative supply channels, and develop emergency plans based on worst-case scenarios. He called for the implementation of a "five-day system" for vehicle rotation restrictions in the public sector, and urged the public to participate in energy-saving actions. South Korea will announce the second round of fuel price caps on March 27, and due to the increase in international oil prices, a price hike is inevitable.
