The two-year German bond yield fell by about 10 basis points on Monday as investors weighed the information regarding Trump's offer to "negotiate with Iran."
At the end of the European market on Monday, the yield on German 10-year government bonds fell by 3.9 basis points to 3.005%, trading in a range of 3.077% to 2.951% intraday. At 19:05 Beijing time, it dropped from 3.067% to 2.955%, and then fluctuated at a low level before hitting a daily low at 23:14. The yield on German 2-year government bonds fell by 9.8 basis points to 2.575%, trading in a range of 2.764% to 2.506% intraday; the yield on German 30-year government bonds fell by 2.6 basis points to 3.502%. The 2/10-year German government bond yield spread increased by 5.919 basis points to +42.527 basis points.
