South Africa holds a protest against external interference in domestic affairs.
Thousands of people held a march in Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city, on the 21st to express their determination to defend national sovereignty and democratic achievements, and oppose external interference in the country's internal affairs. The event was initiated by the ruling party, the African National Congress, as well as the South African Communist Party, the Congress of South African Trade Unions, and other organizations, attracting participation from various social groups. The march began in the morning from Mary Fitzgerald Square in the city center, passed through Nelson Mandela Bridge, and reached its destination near Constitution Hill, where the South African Constitutional Court is located. South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Lamola, stated at the rally that South Africa's foreign policy does not allow external interference in its internal affairs. People participating in the rally and march to defend national sovereignty and oppose foreign interference were very inspiring. The ANC recently announced that no external forces can interfere in the sovereignty of the South African people governing their own country. The people of South Africa are well aware that their country's economy and resources are being exploited.
