Slovenia holds parliamentary elections.

On March 22nd, local time, Slovenia held parliamentary elections. Approximately 1.7 million registered voters nationwide will vote for 90 new members of parliament from 1,185 candidates. Nearly 3,000 polling stations across Slovenia will be open from 7am to 7pm on that day, with 17 political parties and party alliances participating in the elections. Preliminary election results are expected to be announced on the evening of the 22nd.
