The high-quality development of the tea industry in Sichuan is strong, with annual comprehensive output value exceeding one hundred billion yuan. Yibin has a history of tea planting for more than 3000 years and is one of the areas where tea trees bud earliest in the national spring at the same latitude. By 2025, the tea plantation area in Yibin reached over 1.3 million mu, with a dry tea production of 119,400 tons, and a comprehensive output value of the tea industry reached 36.8 billion yuan.
