Northwest's first 8-inch chip production line project supports high-end semiconductor manufacturing in Shaanxi.

"The 8-inch chip production line project of Xinyin era is constructed by Shaanxi Electronic Information Group as the investment main body. The total investment of the project is 4.5 billion yuan, and it is the first 8-inch chip production line in the northwest region that has been completed and put into production. Xu Bin, the director of the factory power department of Xinyin era, introduced that the first phase of the project has completed an investment of 3.2 billion yuan and will be put into production by the end of 2025, marking a major breakthrough for Shaanxi in the field of high-end semiconductor manufacturing and the integration of the integrated circuit industry in Shaanxi towards a new high."
