Dong Ximiao, Chief Economist of China Lianhe Credit Rating Co., Ltd., told the journalist that as the first provincial rural commercial bank established this year, the establishment of Gansu Rural Commercial Bank not only signifies a key breakthrough in the reform of rural credit cooperatives in Gansu after many years, but also, with its registered capital of 44.9 billion yuan and pragmatic reform path, provides a referenceable "western sample" for the ongoing transformation of small and medium-sized financial institutions across the country, especially in the northeast and central-western regions.
