Throughout the year, 970 recalls were initiated due to investigations by market regulatory authorities, involving 5.609 million products, accounting for 89.7% of the total number of recalls and 68.1% of the total number of products recalled. Defect investigations remain the primary method for prompting consumer product manufacturers to implement recalls. By the end of 2025, China had implemented a total of 7066 consumer product recalls, involving 113 million products.
