Wang Youfu, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hainan Province, has been expelled from the party and dismissed from his post.
With the approval of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hainan Province conducted a disciplinary investigation into Wang Youfu, the former deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hainan Province. Following the investigation, it was found that Wang Youfu had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, disregarded the spirit of the Eight-point Central Committee regulations, illegally accepted gifts, participated in tourism activities that could potentially affect the fair execution of public duties, violated organizational principles by failing to report personal matters as required, sought benefits for others and accepted money in cadres recruitment, abused his power to benefit relatives for personal gain, used his authority to benefit others in business operations, engineering contracting, job transfers etc., and illegally accepted large sums of money. Wang Youfu's serious violations of party organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and rules of life constitute severe violations of official duties and suspected bribery crimes. Furthermore, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and his actions are serious and seriously harmful, and should be severely dealt with. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Regulations on Administrative Penalties for Public Servants of the People's Republic of China", the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, after deliberation and approval by the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, decided to expel Wang Youfu from the Party, dismiss him from his public office, confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations and crimes, and transfer his suspected criminal case to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution, along with the transfer of the assets involved.
