Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone's food industry has soared to the "hundred billion level"

On the 18th, it was learned from relevant departments in Nanning, Guangxi that by 2025, the total output value of food processing and its supporting industries in the Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone will exceed 10 billion yuan, and its industry's pillar status is becoming increasingly prominent. Located in the northern suburbs of Nanning, the ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone, formerly known as the Wuming Overseas Chinese Farm, is the largest overseas Chinese settlement in Guangxi. Since its upgrade to a national-level economic and technological development zone approved by the State Council in 2013, the food industry has always been one of the key pillar industries in the region. Currently, the ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone has gathered more than 150 well-known domestic and foreign food processing and supporting enterprises, including 65 large-scale food processing and supporting enterprises.
