Beijing Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor Jin Wei stated that Beijing attaches great importance to the development of the pharmaceutical and health industry. By 2025, the scale of Beijing's pharmaceutical and health industry has reached 1.13 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.5% compared to the previous year; 6 new innovative drugs have been listed, and 10 innovative medical devices have been developed, ranking among the top in the country; there are 11 types of AI medical devices, ranking first in the country. In 2024 and 2025, a series of "32 measures" to promote the development of innovative medicine will be implemented, and a number of nationally pioneering reform initiatives will be put into effect, including the approval of the country's first pilot project for segmented production of biologics. This year, Beijing will also introduce new "32 measures".
