The tenth Sino-Vietnamese Border Defense Friendly Exchange Activity successfully held a joint medical consultation in border areas.
On the morning of the 17th, the 10th China-Vietnam Border Defense Friendly Exchange Activity Border Area Joint Free Clinic was successfully held. More than 80 medical experts from the Chinese and Vietnamese militaries formed two medical teams, simultaneously carrying out free clinic activities in Dongxing City, Guangxi and Hengmo Township, Guangning Province, Vietnam.
At the free clinic in Dongxing City, the medical team set up 13 consultation desks covering respiratory internal medicine, orthopedics, traditional Chinese medicine, etc. The medical experts from both militaries consulted together, cooperated closely, warmly received the patients, and provided targeted diagnosis and treatment plans based on the characteristics and disease prevalence in the border areas. At the same time, the medical team sent out mobile medical teams with simple equipment and common medications to provide medical services to the residents.
On the day of the event, 789 patients were treated at the free clinic in Dongxing City, and 918 patients were treated at the free clinic in Hengmo Township, with a total of 1171 medications distributed in both locations.
The joint free clinic in the border areas is an important part of the China-Vietnam Border Defense Friendly Exchange Activity, bringing health and well-being to the border residents of both countries, promoting the exchange and advancement of military medical and health technologies, and vividly reflecting the deep friendship between Vietnam and China, as well as the close comradeship and brotherhood.
