On March 17th local time, it was reported that Unilever is considering splitting off its food business as a preliminary step to further streamline its vast business portfolio. The company is in discussions with advisors to explore future options, including the possibility of spinning off most or all of its food business. Some sources mentioned that the company is currently in the initial stages of weighing various possibilities, but may not proceed with any transactions before 2027. In addition, sources revealed that the transaction valuation for Unilever's food business could reach several billion dollars.
