Washington, March 17th (Xinhua) - Joe Kent, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center in the United States, announced his resignation on the 17th, stating in a letter to President Trump that he "cannot in good conscience support a war against Iran." Kent posted an open letter to Trump on social media, stating, "I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective immediately.
