Analysts say that after the decision by the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Australian dollar has experienced a significant fluctuation against the US dollar. Kaitlyn Buhariwalla from Westpac Bank commented, "Following the decision by the Reserve Bank of Australia to raise interest rates, the Australian dollar briefly rebounded to 0.7094, but quickly fell back to slightly above 0.7060." The strategist stated, "The 5-4 split vote result is likely to be interpreted by the market as a dovish rate hike." The strategist also noted that the Reserve Bank of Australia's comments regarding the "significant risks posed by the Middle East conflict in both directions" seemed somewhat neutral. The Australian dollar has recently risen by 0.1% to 0.7076 US dollars.
