Infineon Technologies has announced that it has expanded its cooperation with Nvidia, focusing on the fields of physical artificial intelligence and humanoid robots. The German chip manufacturer stated on Monday evening that it plans to combine its technology with Nvidia's AI, robotics, and simulation platforms to help design and deploy humanoid robots. The company also mentioned that Infineon will join Nvidia's AI system detection lab to test the design of robust hardware and software security foundations. The chip manufacturer said that the two companies aim to help developers validate designs more quickly, push humanoid robots from laboratory pilot projects to real-world applications, and achieve scaled deployment from prototypes to clusters in industrial environments. This cooperation builds upon the partnership announced by both companies in August last year.
