315 electric bicycles with surging exposure have caused abnormal operations in over 32,000 electric bicycle-related enterprises.

CCTV's 315 Evening Gala reported that by 2025, the new national standard stipulates that the speed of electric bicycles should not exceed 25 kilometers per hour, and the voltage of the battery should not exceed 48 volts. However, accidents have been occurring frequently due to violations of the speed limit. Live-streaming e-commerce hosts openly promote electric vehicles with performance exceeding the standard and claim they can be leased. An investigation by journalists found that local stores and chain brands like Hello Bike have been exceeding the speed limit. The speed of Hello Bike stores can reach 75 kilometers per hour, and they even use old vehicles to bypass the new regulations. Some brands are directly delivering electric scooters with fake license plates. According to Tianyancha's professional version data, up to now, China has over 926,000 electric bicycle-related companies. In terms of regional distribution, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Shandong are the top three regions with the most electric bicycle-related companies, with over 89,000, 85,000, and 74,000 companies respectively. Tianyancha's risk assessment shows that among companies engaged in electric bicycle-related businesses, 1.38% have been involved in legal disputes, 3.52% have experienced operational abnormalities, and 1.07% have faced administrative penalties.
