On the afternoon of March 6th, US President Trump posted on social media that he had just had a very successful meeting with the largest defense manufacturing companies in the United States, discussing production and production plans. According to Trump, these companies have agreed to double the production of "sophisticated" weapons so that the United States can quickly reach the highest quantity levels. Trump said, "The expansion work had already started three months before the meeting, with many factories being built and production of such weapons underway.
