Anthropic CEO restarts negotiations with the Pentagon over AI cooperation agreement.

On March 4th local time, according to reports, several informed sources revealed that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has been in discussions with Emil Michael, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, in hopes of finalizing a contract for the Pentagon to use Anthropic's artificial intelligence models. The report stated that reaching a new contract would allow the US military to continue using Anthropic's technology and significantly reduce the likelihood of the company being identified as a "supply chain risk."
