Ministry of Commerce: Anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imported canola seeds originating from Canada starting from March 1, 2026.

On February 28th, the Ministry of Commerce issued a notice announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of imported rapeseed originating from Canada. The investigating authorities finally determined that there is dumping of imported rapeseed originating from Canada, which has caused substantial damage to the domestic rapeseed industry in China, and there exists a causal relationship between the dumping and the substantial damage. In accordance with Article 38 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations, the Ministry of Commerce has proposed to the Tariff Commission of the State Council to impose anti-dumping duties. The Tariff Commission of the State Council will make a decision based on the proposal of the Ministry of Commerce, and starting from March 1, 2026, anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imported rapeseed originating from Canada.
