The 2026 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference and the "Investing in Shanghai" Activity Week will open on March 14th.

Shanghai Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau Director Tang Wenkan stated at a press conference on February 28 that the 2026 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference and "Investing in Shanghai" activity week will open on March 14. The conference, with the theme of "Spring Awakening Shanghai, Leading the Future", will be held at the main venue in the Shanghai Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone. During the conference, there will be a series of "1+2+N+X" activities, including one high-level promotion event, two government-enterprise roundtable meetings, numerous negotiation and matchmaking activities, and themed investment promotion events. The conference will invite nearly 500 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises to participate, including industry leaders such as Dell, AstraZeneca, GE, Sanofi, and Haier, as well as well-known investment institutions such as Boyu Capital, KKR, and Qiming Venture Partners, and new innovative forces such as MiniMax, Huntkey Technology, and Horizon Robotics.
