National environmental air quality reaches historical peak in 2025.

On February 27th, the journalist learned from a press conference held by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment that by 2025, the air quality will continue to improve, with the national environmental air quality reaching its best in history. The average concentration of PM2.5 in cities at or above the prefectural level is 28.0 micrograms per cubic meter, with the proportion of excellent air quality days reaching 89.3% and the proportion of heavy pollution days at 0.9%. These three indicators are at their best levels since monitoring records began.
