During the Spring Festival holiday from February 15th to 23rd, China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd. accumulated a total of 3.52 million passengers, an increase of 10.4% compared to last year, including 663,000 inter-provincial passengers and 2.839 million passengers within Yunnan province. The peak transportation period during the Spring Festival holiday was from February 22nd to 24th, when China Railway Kunming Group increased the operation of high-speed trains on key inter-provincial routes such as Kunming to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Chongqing, as well as key domestic routes within Yunnan province such as Lijiang, Dali, Baoshan, Xishuangbanna, Honghe, and Lincang. By arranging trains to run in multiple sets and adding carriages, the transportation capacity was maximized, with an average of 516,000 passengers per day over the three days, reaching a peak of 539,000 passengers on February 23rd.
