In 2025, the number of registered robot-related companies reached a record high.

According to the data from Qi Cha Cha, by the end of 2025, China had a total of 275,000 registered robot-related companies, an increase of 39.9% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching a new high in the registration volume in nearly ten years. Among them, the East China region had the highest number of registered robot-related companies in 2025, accounting for 35.5%, followed by the South China region at 22.5%. In terms of the number of existing companies, the number of robot-related companies in China has been increasing year by year over the past decade. By the end of 2025, the number of existing robot-related companies in China exceeded 1 million, and as of February 24, 2026, there are 1,089,000 robot-related companies in China.
