BMW's Gao Xiang will assume the role of Vice President of MINI Americas, effective May 1st.
On February 24, BMW Group announced that starting from May 1, 2026, Gao Xiang, the President of BMW Greater China, will assume the position of Vice President of MINI Americas, and his position will be taken over by Ke Ruichen. Gao Xiang has over thirty years of experience in BMW Group and has played a key role in promoting electrification and digital transformation in the Chinese market. Ke Ruichen, with rich experience, will lead BMW into a new stage in the Chinese market. In 2026, BMW will have a big year for products in China, with around 20 new models from the three major brands.
