Bloomberg New Energy Finance's latest data shows that by 2026, the world will have an additional net ethylene production capacity of 14.6 million tons, about twice the average annual increase of the past five years, setting a new record for annual growth. China's share of the global net addition of ethylene production capacity in 2026 will reach 56%, becoming a key player in this round of expansion.
